To all of the bad stuff: Good Riddance

In search of something different I joined EmoSpace and EmoBook yet I don’t like them at all. In fact I really dislike this social networking thing where everything is personalized to a way that will halt your computer’s normal functioning, pages so clogged with useless material that will make your browser cache explode your hard drive. You put pictures in order to satisfy your ego and try to prove you’re not emo. You have like a billion friends that barely know you yet act as if they’ve known you for your whole life and their comments are that way too. On EmoSpace you can put a bunch of pictures of you on slide shows as if it weren’t enough to share the pictures with people who know you but you also give complete strangers a look at you. The thing is that there isn’t one slide show, that’s not good enough, people have like 3 or 4 to satisfy their ego. And if others put more shit there you will feel emo and after cutting your wrist take 40-75 pictures of yourself with the same expression on a crappy cameraphone and post them randomly with this new feature that will make you the envy for like 3 minutes. I really dislike not talking to people in person, even though I don’t talk that much, you perceive more from person to person than from a text in online-speech (“OMG u r qte”). EmoBook is more tolerable for now.

Right now I’m writing a book, just started chapter one and hope to finish it by the end of this summer. It’s kind of odd for me to do such a thing since I dislike reading and also dislike writing but there is something in me that wants to try this out. Maybe this will be added to the list of things I have done and never succeeded at. Anyways you all have a great summer, I’ll try my best while having no moneys.

Yeah I get to be a senator. A acting one, not the pretend one I was.

After yesterday I was only but a guy with a job but no real work, well sort of. The process to the end of this chapter started last week, when the then senator did not raise his hand on a half second of voting.

I’m gonna explain the voting process taken when he didn’t raise his hands. First there is a motion (Example: “a motion that this body fully accepts the utter crap that I write in this blog”). Second someone has to second it (Example: someone raises the hand). After that the president of the body goes into Auctioneer-mode and says: “Opposed? Abstentions?. The motion passes.” If you act at the speed of light the they may notice you.

Voting process explained, now to the fun part: the aftermath. The 2 days after the vote the president of the university (not the president of the body where the motion was approved by the student) calls student syndic which happens to be from our university and tells her that a student from our university approved the student ass stomping recommendations. That day I’m called to a practically all day reunion on how to fix this problem. It turns out most members of the student council didn’t know what the recommendations where. After a loooooong day debating I went home. The next day we started at 8:30am debating the points of the recommendations, we ended at 3:something pm. I stayed there helping prepare some papers that the senator hadn’t made and got out at about 11:30pm, because the guards almost booted us from there.

The weekend passed and Tuesday made it a day that will live in infamy. There was a public forum that would help explain the recommendations to the students. It turns out that the student council was put into a ridicule position, where the students pointed weakness in leadership, faulty propaganda and traitors (last one is more of them thinking on their way out). PWN was almost done to the unlucky senator, who by then had a protection warrant. That ended at about 1:20pm, I wasn’t in it. This info is what I got when I asked people about how it went. As night fell the council went into an ordinary meeting which extended to about 11:15 pm or something like that. There on new subjects topic the then senator presented his resignation, the body accepted it and the alternate which was I got the full job… until someone gets named to the job or they name me.

Today was moving out day for him, after a long week of hardships and disasters it all ended quietly. Now the breeze blows (of the fan) in my favor and my tummy is tingly (must be hungry). I hope I don’t screw up!

Edit: I found a loophole to protect the voice of the students. According to Robert’s rules of order: “A member has the right to change his vote up to the time the vote is finally announced.

After that, he can make the change only by permission of the assembly, which may be given by general consent; that is, by no member’s objecting when the chair inquires if any one objects. If objection is made, a motion may be made to grant the permission, which motion is undebatable.”

This happened today when I was passing an intersection and a guy invaded my place and time with his car. He hit the right side of the car and kept on driving. I couldn’t hear anything for a while over the sound of me crapping my pants, ‘cuz it was that unexpected. By the time I realized what happened the guy was long gone. I got so angry that I hit the steering wheel hard and broke a little part of skin on my hand. One way I found to vent this frustration is to draw a comic page… maybe it’s not as funny as it could be but it was out of the blue.

Web 2.0 is kind of broken today and extremely slow internet make me go crazy. It was a good 30 min to an hour trying to get this shitty post up.

I was catching a deep slumber when a lawn mower sound and my dad wakes me up. He said to look out the window of my brother’s room. I did and took a picture.

The guy on the back is the helper, and he was a safe distance away for head-chopping blade reasons.

With a smile as if I got the toy I wanted for christmas I went outside and took this.

The definition of having balls was given a new meaning by the guy in black.

After this pic I decided to take no more for fear of them following me with their eyes in a psycho manner. After this one of the blades hits a palm tree and stop rotating in a head-chopping manner. And they turn it off. It would have been so cool if he got to fly it out of the street, but I think the balls needed for that could not be carried on the autogyro*, besides all the wires that hang from the posts. I would have talked to them to know what type and make it is but by said reasons above I didn’t.

*Balls would have to be even bigger just to land it here and having balls once again have a new meaning.

Let’s start by my first class, it’s on the 800 building the parking right next to it was of the students but now it is empty at 7am, gotten by the administration. While we move down from the 800′s we stumble upon some debris, this used to be my new furniture at the student council. We are now going down the side of what once was the medical services office, then right in front of the 600′s we see a part closed to the public. Behind this wall of warning and danger lies a workplace where they are supposed to be men working on replacing some leaky old tubes. Heading down my way to the 100′s, if you aren’t from this campus by now you should realize that all buildings with class rooms are numbered, the normal route I take seems to be blocked by some dangerous encasing orange net I seem to be familiar from a moment ago. As I arrive to the 100′s I decide to buy some almonds covered in chocolate and a plastic-looking colored candy cover or for short M&M’s and took a glance at the hole overhead and remembered when I was paying on my first semester that half the ceiling fell behind meli and I. I got to the candy machine and saw that all candies where now $1 and these are regular size, not the hueg Xbox-size you find on blockbuster (pic coming soon in an edit). I decided not to buy it and went to my car to see what else I could take a picture of. At the peak of the day I found that the proffesors’ parking is practically empty along with the stupid division of social class, student’s cars have to pass through a cramped part thanks to students themselves but hey, professors aren’t using all their spaces so the students themselves are to blame because most transfer out of the place.

When seeing this and the asbestos signs marking that you will die sooner than expected, no wonder so many people don’t like the place and want to get out. Sometimes I wonder if the main reason of existing of the University is for the students or for the payroll.

These have been the expressions of my point of view and way of thinking. There are many good things happening, here I decided on focusing on some of the bad bits, the mess you saw on the pics are part of progress.

There will be more chronicles on the way but, I’ll also put something else for the rest every now and then.

Shit I’m late again!…

After being sick for 2 maybe 3 weeks tops on December. I bounced back to life and went out with friends and family. On the national Hangover day I had a realy bad hangover and made me think about drinking twice before I do it again. Suncoast, my beloved place to buy anime at retail price is closing for good, I went yesterday and got what I wanted before going out the door saying: loot! We also went on a boat trip to buy ICE, saw a few movies, had fun at the beach and played with my Wii, Bomberman and Rayman (one trippy game). In all we all, that I know of, had a good time.

A new semester is looming on the horizon and from the looks of it my schedule looks hectic. There is a problem with a new hike to the cost of credits on the UPR with no date nor how much it will be. I’ve taken the classes in order so that they get hit less with the activities of the student council. I hope for the best.

Women are the worst creatures that ever existed. I’m just talking about some types, not that all are bad. This is in particular is of one type, they are mainly the ones that take advantege of a situation or “relationship” for their own personal satisfaction. Eating, devouring a poor soul for pure pleasure and fun. The poor soul is probably a nice guy(I’m 100% sure).

But why nice guys? What did they ever do to recieve such punishment? Nothing. That’s right Nothing about it.

They give themselves as guinea piggs for the experiment called “relationship.” They, assuming it’s going to be a wonderfull experience where they will let their feelings be expressed are sucked into an abiss of torturing “love” where they give their evrything in order to keep “love” alive. This guys don’t mind what happens to them as long as they have “relationship” and “love” they are “happy.” But then there comes a time where it all has to end, the “relationship” is falling appart and “love” is something they dreamed that was true. By not “fueling” the “passionate” “fire” that is “love” the “relationship” is going to end. It is not the nice guy, he’s giving his evrything to that “love,” but there’s been a change in the way the other part of the “relationship” views “love.” By now the poor guy is trying his best to suffice the “new love” but to no avail he succeds. The end reult is a guy who couldn’t do the right thing and is guilty of the brakeup. The other part now has what she wants, the thing she made him think was “love.” After time passes he still feels guilty for what had happened, yet don’t rejoice little friend it wasn’t meant to be what it was. The guy finds out he is but only one in a long string of Dumped guys. Heart broken the guy commits an act he thought was never going to happen, he pardons her for the sins she made against him. He doesn’t want to live again those moments of hardship. He comes out of it like a new man. With an experience on his mind and a new spirit of youth, never had he ever felt so alive so full of joy. A broken heart won’t stop him because this is part of life. He will one day find a woman that he will be suitable for and she would be for him. It will become a Real Relationship with Real Love. He will give it his best and she will give it her best.

What bull crap I’ve just spew’d out. This was out of frustration and sadness of how a relationship went wrong on me. It never maked sence until I started writing it down. What a nice way to get bad things out of your system. I’m gratefull this happened to me because I know what I’m getting into next time it happens and will deal with it better. I think this example can be appied to the other sex too. Girls or guys who are selfish in a relationship make it grow worse as time passes.

I consider myself a nice guy, allways trying to be on the good side with evryone is very hard on me and somehow I seem to be on the bad side of those for whom I did the most.

Well I’m alive and kicking. Also this type of things are bound to happen.
It’s been a very busy month for me, with the start of my council-man labors. Finalizing classes and the hectic caos because of me being the lazy motherfucker I am made all of the things harder. Tests flying all over the place and the less importance I payed to them the better it went for me when I took them. In all the mess that was my never ending quest to view my anime series and go out and stuff.

I finished Eureka seveN and may I say: Awesomeness. This wasn’t the only one I was viewing, a few days back I got to finish FMP, also Awesomeness. The rest of the viewingness is being done in Eddy’s from assorted new series full of Awesomeness. I also got to go to The Beatles tribute with Eddy. There I got to meet Neko, the girl that came from Alaska, and we had a great time there. Also that show was looong, way longer than the Green Day tribute.

The chronicles will be continued on some sort of way. I have a bunch of stories, the only thing is that I have short lapse memory. I’m currently listening to Less Than Jake, The Bouncing Souls and the trance tracks of Eureka seveN [makes you wanna dance with glowsticks and have a bottle of watter besides you].

But let me start with what the title of this post means. On thursday November the 16th of 2006 I took my physics class as usual from 3:00PM to 4:50PM. The professor is dicussing preasure and things that explode or implode depending on the preasure inside and the one outside the object. Suddenly the professor uses some strange analogy gotten out from his “doctorate” in physics and devices a machine to meassure preasure, comprised of a spring inside a tube. He deliberatedly named the device in Spanish as: “Presionometro.” By the love of God I wish I was joking there but it is the real word he used. As soon as the words of pain were sputtered, words of flame started to spew from guys on the back who ironically are getting the best grades on the class. As the class continues and we get to aceptance of the language mutilation that has happened, there is a pause, time and space are still. Out of the door comes Hiro from the show Heroes and tells me: “Theres gonna be language mutilation that will make the world weep. Your job is to show the world this hideous crime.” As he is heading out the door I say to him: “How did you learn English? Why you have a sword?” He replies: “Stay tuned!” He walks out and people start to move and talk again. The professor stats taling about putting things underwater and how certain stuff seems to sink while other seems to float, then out of his mouth come the words that may make humanity start a new Spanish Inquisition when you leat expect them and they are: “Fuerza de Boyanza.” That’s right buoyancy force. The blood curdling scream of a virgin having 70,000 volts of electricity shoot through her body and explode every time he said the utter words.

The same day I was with Eddy and Birla watching Heroes. I let them see what the utter devastation of our main language was going on in my physics class. They both stood in awe. By the time you end reading this the troops of the new Spanish Inquisition will be rounding virgins for their new executions.
